What a fantastic day at Tryon for Team GB and Tom was a huge part of that by bringing home Toledo de Kerser clear and under time.  For many it was deemed the round of the day and it really was foot perfect and a joy to watch.

Tom and Toledo don’t go fast very often but when they do they really fly. It was an incredible day for Team GB with all 4 team riders coming home under time which I think must be some sort of a record.

It was a funny day all round… the track was a three star and with 4 star horses in attendance it was supposed to be a walk in the park but there were still plenty of problems across the board.  The Brits have a hefty lead and with the team being on good jumpers there is all to play for.

Hurricane Florence has turned into no more than a summer storm with wet and windy weather but the powers that be have cancelled all competition tomorrow so the Kur has been lost entirely from the pure dressage.  The eventers jog at 2pm on Sunday and then showjump on Monday which is throwing us all out of our routine…it has been eventful out here for sure!
