A lovely photo of Tom seconds before he faceplanted into a hole… I jest, but it would have made a far cooler photo for the intro!

Another dime another dollar… another day at the office for Tom and things are looking sweet!

No Excuse ( Jimmy) jumped a clear in the CI4*S showjumping to move up from 9th to 6th place.  CHF Cooliser ( Eliza) stepped up to the plate superbly with a clear round of her own which moved her from 57th to 41st… nice work at your second ever start at this level.

Cross country was in full swing all day and the lovely Lordships Graffalo ( Walter) posted a smart clear in time in the CI2*L to climb from 20th to 13th which was no mean feat as there were plenty of casualties at the bottom of that score sheet.  In the CI3*L Dream Big ( Dreamy) put her TB blood to the fore and with a clear in time moved up from 39th to 19th… a whoppng 20 places at 3* really does bode well for a 4 and 5 star “when the going gets tough” for an  amazing result.

Last to go of the day at something like 6.30 pm was Rehy Real Diamond ( Bling) and yet again Tom delivered the goods with a clear in time to move from 20th to 11th.

To have 5 clear in time showjumping and cross country is really quite special. There is usually a blip, an unfortunate incident, a loose dog, an unavoidable drama but today simply everything went to plan. Long may it last!

A huge shout out to the team who have had plenty to do today with 5 horses running XC and SJ but with the sun shining it does make life a little easier!  Yet another great day for Tom and plenty to be excited about tomorrow.  Even if it is in Norfolk which is just about as far as you can get for a Monday evening departure to Tattersalls!
