After looking at the photos of Ballindenisk that have been posted I can only imagine that Tom’s horsebox will need to be pressure hosed inside and out!  The mud is of The Somme proportions and how Lucy Seddon is turning horses out to her usually high standard is a complete mystery!

It is testament to the conditions that Joyride  (Wibley) finished 9th even with his jumping faults in the CCI 3 star and also to his soundness… he never misses a third day jumping test and it was tough out there yesterday.  Royal Roxey has clearly got this mud thing sorted now and she also came out this morning and bounced through her trot up before jumping a clear round showjumping to move up to 13th place and a nice Autumn holiday ahead of her.  She has simply been amazing this year.

CHF Cooliser (Eliza) has also had a fantastic year and she was foot perfect in her CIC 2 star cross country this morning to hold onto her runner up slot and finish just three seconds over the time to add 1.6 to her dressage score.  That is a huge achievement for a young horse and just goes to show how much depth Tom has coming through with his youngsters.

Ella McEwen also proves she still has what it takes and she and Dunno Fear went clear cross country adding just 3.2 time to  move up into 11th spot in a huge class.  Nice one Ella!

I can assume the McEwen team will be more than happy to be heading home to Gatcombe Park and the relative luxury of green grass and dry stables. I guess its a good practice run for Boekelo though!
